I’ve never been a resolution maker because, well, I know myself. I chafe under restraints and schedules and I will probably break the damn things just because I made them. That’s the warped way my psyche works. But this year, after determining that I want to start a happiness project and set some parameters for what this year should look like, I’ve decided to give resolutions a go. And you know what? They’ve already prompted me to do good things a few times today. So…. we’re off to a marvelous start.
- Laugh it off.
- Think of small treats or courtesies.
- Give proofs of love.
- Drink more water.
- Write thank you notes.
- Eat more vegetables.
- Connect with friends as often as possible.
And that’s it, folks. Nothing too ambitious or too out of reach. Just some good stuff it excites me to do. Them’s my kind of resolutions.
